Skeletal Beauty

They tell me I’m beautiful.

They say,

“I am so jealous of your legs”.

They don’t know,

It scares me,

They never brush against each other.

They tell me I’m lucky.

They say,

“You are so tall”.

They don’t know,

I was made to be taller

but my back,

It’s broke.

They tell me I look like a model.

They say,

“You are so skinny”.

They don’t know,

I feel so weak,

I tremble and shake.

For goodness sake,

I’m skin and bones and wide awake.

  1. Maddy you are stunning and smart and witty and sarcastic (kinda like me even though I’m not part of your family any more) but you are amazing and have done so many things with your life I wish I could have, please do not let anyone or anything make you feel otherwise ❤️❤️❤️

    1. Thank you Jen so much! I love you no matter if you are or aren’t a part of our family anymore ! I am a very strong female and although these poems are gateways into direct thought of mine, I don’t let it effect me on a daily basis. It is just my creative ‘artwork’. Thank you for taking the time to read and comment ❤️😘
